Privacy policy

Data controller

Purposes

We process the information you give us in order to:

  • provide the services you have booked (accommodation in our hotels) and handle invoicing;
  • reply to the enquiries you send us by email or phone;
  • send you information and personalised offers about our products and services, if you have consented.

To offer you services that match your interests we create a commercial profile from the information you provide. No automated decisions are taken on the basis of that profile.

Retention

Your data is kept for as long as the commercial relationship lasts or until you ask for it to be deleted, and for 5 years from your last booking or purchase. After that it is kept, blocked, only for the periods required by law.

  • Performance of the contract, when you book a product or service.
  • Your consent, for sending commercial information. Withdrawing your consent never affects a booking or the provision of a service. Articles 20 and 21 of Spanish Law 34/2002 apply to commercial communications by electronic means.
  • Providing the data needed to make a booking is compulsory; otherwise we cannot provide the service.

Recipients

We do not disclose data to third parties unless required by law, and we do not plan any transfers to third countries. We will disclose personal data to the competent public authorities when required by the applicable legislation.

Your rights

You have the right to know whether we are processing your data, to access it, and to ask for inaccurate data to be corrected or deleted when it is no longer needed. In certain circumstances you may also ask us to restrict the processing of your data, in which case we will keep it only to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You also have the rights of data portability, objection and not to be subject to individual automated decisions, where applicable.

To exercise them, write to administracion@bluhotelgroup.com, or send a signed written request by post to DIRA CONCEPT SL, C/ Teodor Canet 25, 07400 Alcudia, Balearic Islands, with a copy of your ID.

You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Source of the data

The data comes from you, through the forms or messages you send us.

Confidentiality

DIRA CONCEPT SL guarantees the confidentiality of personal data. Data may be kept in the company’s files after the relationship ends, solely for the purposes above and for the legally established periods, at the disposal of administrative and judicial authorities.
